What is a signed print?

All of Dave’s prints are exclusively from Dave’s photographs and the process to the print is carried out and personally signed by Dave. It is not anticipated that they will be run off in any large numbers. If you buy one of Dave’s signed prints you know you own something personal and special.

Why not offer them as limited editions? Many photographers sell editions ranging from a few to hundreds, giving the impression of small print numbers, greater exclusivity and possible future increase in value. However, there is no legal definition of whether there will be another edition in a different size, or any legal limit on future usage of these images. It is a totally confusing and unregulated area.

Photography has the beauty of appearing in many media, many times. After decades of pushing his images out to the media for major environmental campaign advantage, Dave wishes to avoid such ethical confusion.
